Church Plant

In Luke chapter 14 Jesus spoke about planning in:

“ 28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it  29 lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, 30 saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish’? ” – NKJV

This statement is also true when God has called one to plant a church – the cost must be considered.

Considerations

  • What is this new church going to look like?
We believe that JPC should be culturally relevant and hence aim to reflect the ever-changing culture of this community.
  • What will make this church different?
The Spirit of God will attract all types of people as we seek God in effective and continued intercession. Additionally, the unity that we aim to portray will attract others as they would not be joining a church alone but a family.
  • What is God asking this new church to do?
To be the light and salt of the community, thereby winning the souls of broken families and the young from all backgrounds by pointing them to Christ.
